The Committee shall consist of 15 voting members, nominated by the Supervisor for District 10 and appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Members of the Committee shall reside within the boundaries of the African American Arts and Cultural District (the “District”), as described in Section 107.3 of this Code, and shall have the following additional qualifications:
(a) Seat 1 shall be held by an owner of a business located in the District.
(b) Seat 2 shall be held by a performing artist.
(c) Seat 3 shall be held by an employee of a nonprofit organization that advocates for housing located in the District.
(d) Seat 4 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding the history or culture of the District.
(e) Seat 5 shall be held by a faith-based leader of a church located in the District.
(f) Seat 6 shall be held by a youth between ages of 14 to 18 at the time of appointment.
(g) Seat 7 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding the workforce in the District.
(h) Seat 8 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding communication or journalism.
(i) Seat 9 shall be held by a retired senior.
(j) Seat 10 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding community activation or event planning.
(k) Seat 11 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding digital or social media.
(l) Seat 12 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding community engagement.
(m) Seat 13 shall be held by a person with knowledge or expertise regarding African American health.
(n) Seat 14 shall be held by a director of a nonprofit arts organization located in the District.
(o) Seat 15 shall be held by a board member of a neighborhood association located in the District.
